Directions for Using Our At-Home Lice Treatment

Knock-Out Serum

Protect eyes with a washcloth or paper towel. Apply Lice Knowing You® Lice Removal Knock-Out Serum to hair, making sure to thoroughly comb through hair. Let Serum remain on hair for 30–45 minutes. Comb through hair with a wide-toothed comb, making sure all tangles have been removed. Use the Lice Knowing You® Lice Removal Terminator Comb and begin removing all the lice (bugs) and nits (eggs) out of the hair by combing rapidly through the hair, front to back, side to side, wiping into a paper towel as you go. Once you feel like all lice have been removed, divide hair into small sections and remove any remaining nits from hair. This process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the length, thickness, and severity of infestation of the hair. Wash normally following treatment. A little dish soap can help to remove product followed by regular shampoo and conditioner. Patience is key. For best results, use in conjunction with Lice Knowing You® Knock-Out Mousse to ensure removal of all lice and nits. This product is not sold as a pediculicide.

Knock-Out Mousse

1. Protect eyes with a washcloth or paper towel. Moisten hair with water. Apply 30–50 pumps of Lice Knowing You® Knock-Out Mousse to hair, making sure to rub into roots and scalp. Let sit on scalp for 5 minutes. Do not rinse.
2. Add Lice Knowing You® Knock-Out Serum, making sure to coat all hair and scalp. Remove all tangles using a wide-toothed comb. Once removed, begin combing through hair using Lice Knowing You® Terminator Comb. Begin with a general comb through, removing as many lice (bugs) and nits (eggs) as possible. Rinse comb in water as necessary. Then divide hair into smaller sections, removing any remaining nits and lice. Patience is key.
3. Wash hair using Lice Knowing You® Shampoo. Add Lice Knowing You® Detangling and Conditioning Spray to avoid future outbreaks. This product is not sold as a pediculicide.
